Hello modelers and aiviators,
This is a conversion of the Spitfire PRXIX HA7601 541 Sqn RAF Benson by Hobbymaster. The model underwent a 2 week conversion at the hands of my very talented uncle who did everything. He’ll tell you that it wasn’t easy by far and had moments were he could have chucked it through the window, but after everything it’s proudly on display in my house.
The contra-prop was made using another prop made from resin which was attached to the existing one with a lot of care and sanding down. The new resin prop was painted beforehand and assembled.
On top of this the model was beautifully panel lined and weathered. A whip aerial was also added to the top of the fuselage for authenticity.
So thats it. If you have any questions either ask me or my uncle (preferably my uncle) and send all conversion worthy models to my uncle.
That was a joke unless he states otherwise.
