Not sure where to put this query, but about 20 mins ago I saw what I think was a fairly noisy prop driven heavy @ 15,000 ft +, heading on approx a NW or NNW track about 30 miles north of Dublin. I know that it was on a track which normally is used by trans-atlantic traffic.
Can anyone advise if there is a way to find out what it was & where it was heading?

Thanks for the info , had also put a query up on the historic section as i hoped it might be a nice bit of aged erotica such as a DC6/7 or the Electra that you suggest !
Consensus seems to be an Electra, Herc or Russian cargo job.

Just a guess, but would it be an Atlantic Airlines Lockheed Electra?
