🙂 All appear complete. One is still sealed. Offered for swap or exchange (not cash) for actual Westland Wyvern or Short Sturgeon airframe part / parts.

Come on guys. Must be someone out there that would like to dispose of that tatty old Wyvern or Sturgeon relic cluttering up their shed, and in return acquire there very own Victor squadron 😎

The link to a photo of the box seems to indicate that.
You used to see the Lindbergh Vulcan a lot in stores, I think they reissued it fairly recently.
In fact, their current catalog has both of them. Both are shown in camo instead of white.
I don’t think I recall the Valiant kit being issued by Lindbergh.
But since I first posted, I’ve found a web page that confirms all three of the bombers were FROG kits in Lindbergh boxes.

ez um, I think the engines could be made seperately as well, they must have been tiny in that scale!

The Lindberg 1:96 scale kit did make it over here, and just to add to the confusion it was boxed by Revell at one stage! It is a halfway house between the prototypes and the B.1.
Was that the one with the opening hatches in the wings to access the engines? If so I had one many, many moons ago…

Is the Revell a reboxed Matchbox?
If so did they make any changes? Also, did the ancient Lindbergh kit of the Victor ever make it across the Atlantic?
Yes the Revell boxing is just a reboxing of the original Matchbox kit, I always prefer to build the original boxings due to mould crispness etc, though the Revell offering has the advantage in being moulded in just one colour of plastic!
The only changes I’m aware of is with the decal sheet to allow you to build the hemp coloured aircraft.

Lindberg also did a 1:96th Vulcan (again halfway prototype and B.1), Frog produced all three V Bombers with the (Valiant) in the scale, and I often wondered if the Victor and Vulcan were the same as the Lindberg kits?
I’ve built three Matchbox Victors and still have one to complete, I’m quite tempted by the three above, but a bit short on Wyvern bits!

Revell kit is a re-boxed Matchbox, quite a few old Matchbox kits have been re-released under Revell labels in recent years.

Couldnt comment re the Revell / Matchbox kit. But i’m sure the Lindbergh Victor did make it here. Just a shame it wasnt 1/72 if i recall.

They produced it in a couple of different guises…here’s one with an odd accessory:

Would prefer to let them go together rather than separately too 🙂

I would be interested in one of these but I dont have any actual Westland Wyvern or Short Sturgeon airframe part / parts. 🙁
