Giant Scale ME-262 EDF Video

This giant scale EDF powered ME-262 was built by Richard Pandis over a two and 1/2 year period. The model has a wingspan of 106″ and weights 36 pounds. It takes two 12s 6500mAh lipo packs, one for each motor to power this model in the air. Rich gives us all the details about this aircraft’s history and his challenges in buliding this one of a kind RC model. After the interview we see this model fly over Prado Air Park in Chino, CA. Sam Wright provides flight commentary. This video is 13 minutes long but worth your time to watch.
