Hi all, thought I’d start this off after hearing a rumour that Airfix is to release a long awaited Lightning and Shack next year in 1/72 scale.
Does anybody else have any gossip on the rumour front?
I still would love Revell to produce a 1/72 & 1/32 scale RAF Phantom……
Regards,
Phil.

Halifax?
Someone should produce a 1/48 Halifax.
This has to be a winner. Non-obscure type, widely used with lots of versions and colour schemes, including civilian use.
Plenty of 1/72 Hallibags of old but it’s high time for a new release – in big scale.
How about it Airfix?
Anon.

Is there any evidence for the Shack release, or is just thatonly rumour?
Can’t see the need for the Phantoms as they have been so beutifully covered in both scales by Fujimi and Hasegawa, thinking on that is probably what a Revell release would be.
The big one for me is going to be the 1:72nd Vickers Valiant by Airfix.

Already have that with a decal sheet but would love an FG1/FGR2 to go alongside it!

If you wanted to build a 74Sqd Phantom you could use the Tamiya F-4J
