Anyone flown Air Transat Recently?
Need to book a flight to YYZ (Toronto, Pearson International) and the only direct option from MAN on the dates required is AT. (other option is TCX on different dates)
Anyone used them recently and can give their thoughts ?? Do AT offer an upgraded seat class ?
Next option is to shuttle down to LHR to use BA, AT or Air Canada.
Any tips or advice ?

Indeed – I noticed the safety card was titled “B757-200 ETOPS” and there were only two registrations listed (G-FCLI and G-FCLH possibly?)

I believe TCX has 2 or 3 757s that seat around 187 passengers which are used on the “long-haul” routes which is why your legroom was epic!

I flew TCX on an Air Transat codeshare, booked from the Air Transat website, MAN-YYZ last month. The legroom is epic – I am normally packed into any charter airline seat (I’m all thighs!) but I had loads of room, a good 4 inches in front of my knees at least. The food was good and the cabin staff were friendly and helpful. The mid-90s vintage 757 was clean inside, but the IFE is terrible, aisle CRT screens with a rubbish picture. Take a book 😉

I flew with them shortly after they started A330 operations into the UK. I found the cabin crew, mainly French Canadian, very good with catering standards to match. I found The legroom was good too and the aircraft clean and spacious There is Club Class which I understand you can upgrade to, but I didn’t do so and found the legroom in the standard cabin just fine.. Well thats all I can tell you really, hope it helps and that you have a good trip:)
