Thomas Cook Airlines

Morning all,

Last night I booked a one-way flight from Almeria Airport (Spain) to Gatwick with Thomas Cook Airlines, via their flythomascook website.

I usually fly easyJet on this route, but seeing that TCX started their Summer services to LEI and prices were good, I opted for an upgrade from the A319 to a 757, but Im not sure how the airline works as Ive never flown them.

Has anybody flown Thomas Cook independently (e.g. not as part of a charter package), and what is the in-flight service like?

Thanks, much appreciated:cool:

I have to say, having flown Thomas Cook now, the flight was pretty good! Though check-in was quite crazy, as they wouldnt accept my e-ticket and I had to get the travel rep to print me a hard copy ticket, the flight itself was great!

It was an A320, sadly not a 757 as Id hoped, but I got given emergency exit row window seat, the meal was good and we arrived 30mins early! Definately worth the £90!

Thomas Cook

I flew to Vancouver from Manchester and it was superb. No problems either way and plenty of room, even in the ‘cheap’ seats. It’s probably different on the short haul flights but they’ve always been good on the longer haul stuff.
