I/48 Scale Lancaster

Hello All.
Ok I went silly and snapped up a 1/48 scale partially built lanc model by Tamiya. I already have 22 of the same kits. One unbuilt, one that suffered flak damage when a filing cabinet fell and it slid off and crashed.
This one is partially built up with an upgrade brass photo etched kit and and plenty of decals to choose from. I am aiming to get her done up as VR R of 419 Squadron when she was in storage at Lethbridge Alberta I think.
Any how, here are the pics so far….

I think i have some spares that would help.

One of my Lancs was missing its upper wing panels, and as Tamiya dont supply individual parts i had to order the whole sprues. From memory i think there’s a prop on each. I’ll check & let you know….

Minor update

Well I finally managed to repaint the resin engine nacelles after installing them on the stbd side. The aircraft is now finally all one color!
I do need a replacement prop assembly for number 4 engine if anyone has one laying around??

Just installed the number 3 resin engine. I need to make some more adjustments before I can get a tight fit on the number 4 engine installation. I did make a start with gluing the brass canopy framework. Having never worked with this before,it truly is a test of patience and fine work!
