Here’s a link to an interesting Aviation Week article on the worldwide market and case for parting out idle jetliners.
They comment even some “seven year-old A318s” are facing the axe in the quest for parts.

Not just cabin crew, aircraft manufacturers as well. Lets face it these are very difficult times for everyone.
