High Scores And ILS Approaches Improved In ATC-SIM

ATC-SIM is a web-based air traffic control simulator. No plug-ins or additional software are required to play.

This week, the high score system has been completely revamped — based on user suggestions — to emphasize quality over quantity. It awards those that play well, and penalizes those that just play for large numbers.

Thanks to generous support from user “Diggy”, ILS approaches have also been improved so that arriving aircraft immediately follow the localizer course line upon receiving a landing clearance.

Further, a site-wide update of air traffic is in progress to ensure an accurate gameplay experience.

We now have over 2,500 registered users, and nearly 100 airports from which to choose.
