How about the worst airports in the world? I’ve seen some pretty grotty ones.
I’ve never travelled to or within your region..but I dare say there would be a lot in your country

Surprised to see both Heathrow and “Swampy” (Bangkok Suvarnabhumi) in the list.
How did LHR make it there? THe mind boggles…
Heathrow really isn’t as bad as some people make out. Whilst I have yet to sample terminal five, I have used all of the others many times, including terminal two before it closed. Times are changing at Heathrow; the airport is going under extensive refurbishment, the facilities on offer are improving and the wait times for security and immigration are not what they once were. I travelled through terminal four in January, flying indirectly to the USA. Out of the three airports I used on that day, Heathrow was an obvious winner. From checking in to getting on board the aircraft, it was all so smooth. Unfortunately, at the other airports, it felt like I was joining queue after queue.
What’s the problem at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi?

These Asian airports really are very well maintained and pleasant to the eye, no surprise to see them there

I’m perplexed by the omission of Honolulu which in my opinion is one of the great airports of the world

Nice to see Incheon at number two. I have travelled through a number of airports in recent years, but Incheon has been my favourite. The airport is modern, very clean, full of natural light and very efficient.
