Tu-204 Crash (Merged)

Tonight at 0235h Moscow time an Aviastar-TU Tu-204 fell into the woods near Domodedovo airport.
Nobody killed, since he was empty. Four injured.
Flight came from Hurghada.
Looks like he came short, about 1000 meter.
Was very foggy tonight.

Good job it was a ferry flight. Looks as of there would certainly have been casualties had it had a full passenger load.

Interesting because a Libyan IL-62 also landed well short of the runway back in 2006

Isn’t the TU-204 a new design? I wonder what went wrong.
