Hi,
I have a query about Jet2 757 seating. I’m going with them to Lanzarote and I’ve booked seats 14 E/F for the extra leg room. Can anyone tell me if these are at the right hand side entrance door? The reason I ask is that looking at most 757’s there is a set of two seat situated at the door but the jet2 diagram shows a row of three.

Cheers, Chris 🙂

Not sure I get this – the Flight booking system is showing a seat plan now which indicates which extra legroom seats are available and invites a selection. How could this ‘work’ if there are different configurations and it is not yet known which configuration is flying the route on the day in question ??
Im saying this because i have checked in flights for Jet2.com and frequently had passengers who have prebooked there exit row seats months in advance only to have them changed in the days before their flight due to the aircraft been a different configuration.

if its anything like Virgin
when any aircrew turn up to use the flight, you get bumped from the seats you picked, because they know they are the best seats
used to happen regular to my friends on the Gatwick-Antigua run

Jet2 B757 Extra legroom Seats
Jet2.com’s 757’s have various different exit configs! Nothing to do with Jet2 its just how they were built! May i suggest you wait until nearer your flight departure date to book your seats! By then there should be a rough idea of which 757 is doing your flight!

I’m just trying to be clear on the extra legroom seats available on the B757 MAN to HER next summer (flights LS911 and LS912).
The Jet2 booking system show extra legroom emergency exit seats as 12D,E; 33B,C and 33D,E These numbers don’t tie-up exactly with seatplan.com but may be because of missing row 3 and 13 on Jet2. Do the Jet2 booking system seat numbers seem correct ? Does anyone know ? Also, do these seats have a bulkhead or partial bulkhead immediately in front of them ?
Finally, the front section seems to be nearly all extra legroom seats : 1D,E,F through to 8A,B,C. The booking system shows 8D,E,F as standard seats and all row 9 as ‘reserved for wheelchairs’. How does this work ? I’ve never seen this on a seating plan. How do you get 8D,E,F standard in an extra legroom section of the aircraft.
Any help greatfully received.
Thanks

well i hope the leg room is more than the TCook 757-300 i went on 18months back, that was awfully tight, especially for a ski flight where most people have big coats with them. On return flight the extra leg room booked by some had been given to those with obvious injuries, which meant a 6 foot 6 guy was struggling as he could not sit down in the seat he had been given!

All A/C bar LSAJ are under goin new cabin refurbs. Simular to the ones that are shown in the picture at the top. however some small modifications have been made to the seat itself and we have gone with a mix of red and grey seats, Looks good..aswell as cabin walls, curtains, bulkheads etc
All 757s will be done by the summer and 737s completed by winter
😀

Chris,
I regularly check in Jet2.coms flights from NCL, On Sunday i was checking in the ACE flight we had G-LSAE based with us at the time, row 14 on that aircraft was 3X3 seating row 12 is 2×2. Unfortunetly AE went Tech on us that day so G-LSAB came up from Leeds which i think had the same config unfortunetly by this time i was checking in the EK and didn’t get a look at the seating plan. Off the top of my head i think most of the 757s have the same cabin config now as jet2 is at the moment refiting the cabins across the 757 fleet. I think the Batch of 757’s they got from China could be different but im not 100% sure.
