I thought I would show my attempt to re-engineer my Hirobo XRB Lama into something more exciting. I have bought a fuselage kit for the Twister bell from eBay, which is around the right size, so will see what I can do over the next few weeks. I will post some further photos as I go along.
Picture below of kit contents (PET fuse with Depron and Carbon parts) and the Lama starting point.

😀 😀 😀 LOL 😀 😀 😀 Fair enough……I told my sister that I was going to take my spitfire low-level and inverted over her head. Let’s just say that she didn’t much like the idea 😀 😀 😀 She never does 🙁 🙁 🙁 Boring beggar!!!! 😀 😀 😀

I wish you the best of luck and look forward to seeing those pics 😀 😀 😀 Mark 😀
Thanks I have glued the fuse halves together and cut it in half front/back. I will fix the rear section to the mechanics, and have the front removeable to allow for switching on battery changes/charging.
I had to halt production to leave the Lama intact for a family party (much kudos from hovering in the lounge over future Brother in-laws parents heads 😀 )
Now that is over I can strip the Lama down and work out the fuselage and undercarriage mountings
