Hopefully the plane will be in the Carolinas Aviation Museum in May the president has reported. The museum is in Charlotte N.C. which was the original destination of Flight 1549. The fuselage is currently in a New Jersey warehouse.

Now if it was JAL or All Nippon it would most likely be placed in museum for all the traveling public to see :

US 1549 @ Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum
IMHO, the wrecked fuselage of US Airways flight 1549 should be on display at the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum in New York. I can see it resting on a barge or on a pier, just as the Concorde there.

i think it should go on display somewhere as part of an exhibition to show that not all aircraft crashes result in a total loss of life 🙂

Gonna be interesting to see who buys it and what for! 😀
