Combat Flight Sim Add-on

I’m new to flight sim and recently purchased CFS-3 and Shockwave’s “Aircraft Powerpack”(26 aircraft). Is this add -on the same as “Firepower”for MS CFS-3? The back panel of the package seems to imply it is. Shockwave does not reply to my inquiry. Anyone familiar with these programs?
