Air New Zealand will indeed be the first airline to take delivery of sharklet equipped A320s, in late 2012, but that aircraft will not be the first delivered against the airline’s recent order for 14 A320s, as deliveries against begin in January 2011. Consequently, not all the new Air NZ A320s will be fitted with the new winglets.
