FSX aircraft textures

Hi,

I have recently bought FSX, and am unable to get the aircraft textures clear and readable. Even with the aircraft settings ‘ultra high’ the textures appear very blotchy.

Any idea as to what I’m doing wrong?

I increased the ‘global texture’ setting, in FSX (it was set to minimal) and now the textures are far clearer.

Thorny, whats the spec of the machine you’re running it on?(cpu, RAM and GFX) FSX is very demanding on hardware.
Did you run the update patch from Microsoft for FSX?
