As recomended i have installed FS2004, and even managed to have a couple of training sessions, But can anyone recommend a good reliable site for downloading other Aircraft and missions, such as an AVRO LANC etc etc. used to use a website called atomic systems for TRAINSIM, and paid a membership fee to download files. etc etc is there anything similar to this for FLIGHTSIMs 😉

Efiste, back again, been off the forum the last few days due to burying myself in Airline Pilot and funnily enough burying a 737 into the runway at Gatwick repeatedly. I have managed to loose my Lancaster, I have a rough idea where it is on the backup drive and once Ive found it i’ll let you know. Hows things going? I wonder, are all your engines spooling up together? I noticed the other day on one of my 707’s my joystick throttle was only running No.1 instead of all 4………. just a thought.
John, glad ya like the thread 😀

😀 Hi Bex & co,
I apologise for butting in and I can’t help with getting a Lancaster off the ground or with bombing missions but I’ve found this thread so highly amusing that I’m writing to ask you both to continue.

Efiste, soz for the delay, had a busy weekend 🙁 Right then, Im not sure if u can bomb anything in FS2004. I cant say for sure because I havent tried, so Im now just as curious. What I do know is you can create your own flight plans in FS2004, using the “Create a Flight” option. Im in the middle of reinstalling FS2004 on my PC (PC threw its toys) but by Tuesday if need be I can talk you thru it step by step. My fave flight is a 747 – 2xx from LGW to Atlanta, I get there with low fuel warnings and land with 5% fuel in the tanks LoL
Joysticks make the game really, much more realistic and a darn sight easier. If I had the money Id be getting myself a set of controls from CH, they do proper flight yokes & rudder pedals. Or if youre a smart @ss you could always turn ya spare room into a proper cockpit 😀 Bex

Efiste, no problem, bit of a FLight / Train Sim nut here so glad to help. Ok re the engines then. Silly question time, have u tried the Auto Engine Start command? Its CTRL + E at the same time, that should crank em all up hopefully. Bex
