Just back from Canada and was lucky enought to fly in 4 types of aircraft whilst their.Twin Otter, beech 1900d, Grand Caravan and jetstream 31. For me the jet stream was one of the best due to the prestwick connection but the twin otter was something else, great aircraft.
Just wondering these flights were all full, and with the new Twin otter being produced and Dornier looking at the 228, there should be a need for a new 19 seat commuter?? or is this economically un-viable?
Also anyone know what the load factors of these aircraft are (seat cost per mile etc)and which would be the most economic to run?
