Another Air India flight grounded by a rat

Air India’s Riyadh-bound flight from Kerala’s Calicut International Airport was grounded Sunday after a rat was found on board.

This is the second time in a week that a rat has caused cancellation of an AI flight. On Sept. 25 Air India delayed a flight bound for London and Toronto from Amritsar after a rat was found on the aircraft. That flight was delayed for 11 hours.

A Certain Irish-Registered Airline would have called the rat “at-seat entertainment” and stung the passengers a tenner each for the privilege. :diablo:

Now that one made me laugh aloud…you have a great sense of humour :D:D:D:D

The 777 has a RAT fitted as standard. It powers the centre hydraulic system in the event of a twin engine failure. It also has a generator on it to provide a electrical power

How on earth did it get in the cabin though…? 😉

As long as the crew didn’t start a fight over it, it’s no big deal ! 😀
