Hello all,
Rob here from the National Heritage Warbird Foundation. We’re looking for someone who would be willing to donate their time in designing a Mk Vb Spitfire in the markings of the Spitfire we’re attempting to purchase. If one could be designed to work for MS Flight Sim X that would be fantastic!
You can see our thread here : http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=64533 for details.
Once we have one designed, we’re going to make it available for download at our webpage http://www.warbirdfoundation.org .
If anyone is willing and able, we’d love to talk to you!
Cheers,
Robert Flindall

Rob,
It’s only a matter of time before one of the existing models (for FS2004) are upgraded to take advantage of FS-X. It would then be just a matter of persuading someone to do a repaint (a relatively simple matter) This would probably be a better solution than getting someone to design a model from scratch.
Off the top of my head both Aeroplane Heaven/Just Flight and Sky Unlimited do excellent Spit V s for FS2004. The Aeroplane Heaven site has a free download of a Seafire (III?) which is similar and gives you an idea of the quality of their work.
Best of luck,
Bruce
