It really doesn’t look anything special in the BA livery i’m afraid.
I suspect that’s because the BA livery is due a facelift. The original BA Negus livery ran from 1974 to 1985, followed by the Landor livery until 1998-99 or so when the utopia/chatham dockyard tails appeared. Given the arrival of this and other new types to come, I’d have thought they’d be looking at some form of re-branding by now ?
Perhaps they’re waiting for better trading conditions first…?

Oh dear…Not sure if this is true or not, but just read this on Twitter:
“BA CityFlyer’s first Embraer 170 returns to Embraer for repairs after bird strike damages aircraft.”
EDIT:
Seems to be true according to this report

Personally, I think the BA livery is suited to something curvier, like an A320. Will have to see it in real lighting though to make up my mind.
I know its not directly side on for you to see, but i think it still looks great in the BA livery!!
hope this helps 😛

yes i agree Moggy C, i remember seeing the First A380 i think on the frontpage of Airliner World with stage lights.

Pity they didn’t paint it like that.
Once the stage lights are off it will look far less dramatic.
