Hello all!
I have been search the net for system requirements to run FS X.
On the Microsoft FS X site the min requirements seem very low????
What would peoples guess be for what is needed to run FS X at a high quality?
I only ask as i`m currently slapping together a P.C. in prep for the FS X release.
Many Regards,
Ben.

howdy,
i have at home a dual core opteron 175 (2.2Ghz clock/1MB cache per core) 2GB ram, WD 73GB raptor HD, & a single 7800GT (PCIe/256MB ram) video card, onboard sound.
i was able to run the demo with max settings just fine, looked very nice, and was smooth. while up in the air i was able to move my point of view around without any noticable lagging effects.
hope that helps.

I will soon be building a new PC for FS-X as well and although I haven’t finalised the specs I will certainly be going dual core (I’m leaning towards AMD X2 but thats because I’ve been happy with AMD for some time) I’ll be putting in 2 gig of RAM. I’m still considering my options with regard to graphics cards, I’m under the impression that there is no real advantage to using two SLi’d cards in FS-X but time will tell.

* Windows XP SP2 / Windows Vista
* Processor: 1.0 Ghz
* RAM: Windows XP SP2 – 256MB, Windows Vista – 512MB
* Hard Drive: 14GB
* Video Card: 32MB DirectX 9 compatible
* Other: DX9 hardware compatibility and audio board with speakers and/or headphones
* Online/Multiplayer Requirements: 56.6 kbps or better for online play
iI’d double the requirments though, can’t see these ones being great.
