Thank you and Rick for the kind comments and I hope the future doesn’t disappoint you! I don’t do a lot on airliners, not because I find them uninteresting, but because there are so few places where it is possible video them, unless that is you just want shots of airliners on very short finals at, say, Heathrow.

The only airport I know of that still has an area where the general public can go and observe is Ringway. I know of no other.

I first became an aircraft enthusiast on the mid-1950s as a result of seeing aeroplanes at Ringway. It has always had a viewing area of one sort or another, it’s a pity that BAA has destroyed those at Heathrow and Gatwick.

I can only get up to Ringway about twice a year now, so my opportunities are restricted. I do a fair few videos of light and historic aircraft if they interest you just go to
