Having been an avid reader of Airliner World since it’s inception and also of Aircraft Illustrated for far longer, I was disappointed whilst looking for the latest edition of AI, to discover it’s become a retro magazine and has been renamed ‘Aircraft’. Other than a couple of nice historical articles about Laker Airways and the 40th anniversary of Airbus, there’s absolutely no current news or ‘today’ articles. A shame as Aircraft Illustrated has been a staple for me since the early 80’s when I first got interested in aviation.
Presumably this leaves the lads at Key Publishing as the only player in the UK commercial aviation magazine sector ? Make the most of it chaps. :diablo:

Do you get the American publication “Airliners” in the UK???…it’s a great mag with fascinating articles and a great pictorial
We do get it but when i’ve read it I always feel as though it looks like the articles written about the airlines were paid for by the airline. Rather than a balanced and informative review it always seems to come off as more of a publicity stunt. Could be wrong… just my feeling after reading a couple of articles about Air Tran and Monarch a couple of years ago.

I never knew that about Aircraft Illustrated. I used to buy that every month up until a few years ago!
