Didn’t they originally plan to roll it out on 7/08/07 or something??
They rolled out the “1:1 scale model” for Boeing employees to view on 8th July 2007, using the US date format, with the first number denoting the month, the second number the day and the third the year this becomes 7/8/7 …

Ooo the plastic pig moves!
I wonder if they will fly it on the 7th 0f August? (7/8/..geddit?)
I know they have talked about further delays but if they are taxing it they must be near to going flying.Rgds Cking

We might one day see this thing flying! Though another delay on the 787 project really wouldn’t surprise me.
