Dual displays

Hi all.
This is my first post in this forum as i am a complete newbie to flight sims and i am trying to set up my two displays 1 is a 20″ wide screen for the scenery views and the second is my 19″ normal screen for the panels and dials.

I am using Microsoft flight sim 2004 but it wont let me un-dock any of the screens to drag them on to the second display.

The cursor will move across and it is working in dual screen mode when doing everyday computer things,But cannot drag dials across.

Any help very much appreciated.

Ah ok, I wasn’t sure as I have not got a multi monitor display, Rikki’s suggestion sounds spot on to be honest, Simon, you could try the forums at Avsim for this, there are a myriad of posts on this subject if I recall

Deano – WideFs is a payware bolt on that allows multiple PCs to hook into one fsim session allowing you to run different display on different pooters…. it also ties in cloself with the FSUIPC module.

You need to switch to window mode before you can undock any panels (alt+enter). You once you have undocked them you should be able to drag them across and set them up as you wish. You can then return to fullscreen mode once you are ready to fly.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but don’t you need a little program called Wide FS for this? I “think” it’s a free download from Avsim etc
