Does Delta have MD-80s still?

well,about a month or so ago there were some diversions to my local airport.

I went to look up the arcraft and I noticed it was a Delta MD-80. I thought most major American airlines got rid of them? Or are these old NWA DC9-8s?

I meant MD-80 aircraft not the MD-80 series.

Maybe I misread an MD-90.

AFAIK AA still operate many of them as well…

Delta still have 134 active MD-80/90’s.
