Passengers leaving stuff behind on aircraft once they’re getting off annoys me! You wouldn’t leave your house without your wallet/phone/car keys so why leave them behind on a plane!
However the “item” left behind today on the aircraft really beat them all! A family got off the aircraft and left their four year old son onboard and made their way into the terminal and halfway to immigration before realising! Cue screaming child being taken to the terminal with a member of crew!

Passengers who approach my desk with there passports or boarding cards in there mouth while there looking for things in there bag!
Passengers who seem to wait until im about to send the bag down the belt to put luggauge labels on
Passengers asking for free upgrades
A relative coming to check in a passenger in who is sitting in starbucks!
Passengers asking why i need to see there passport if they have checked in online.
Passengers trying to be nice to me to get out of been charged Excess
Some one who isn’t actully flying argueing with me over the passengers problems!

You expect to be told the moment you change time zones.
โPassengers often want to know exactly when they should change their watch when crossing time zones,โ Mrs Burke said.
This one just cracks me up!!!:diablo:

Nothing irks me more than when somebody gets a free upgrade to Business class from the back end when i’ve paid a premium for the business service
I know what you mean but as long as airlines overbook (which they always will do) then I guess it will happen. Ahh well!
Paul
Indeed, in the event that economy is overbooked, airlines have no option but to provide passengers with complimentary upgrades to higher classes, as otherwise they would be liable to pay denied boarding compensation, which in some cases can be more than the actual price of the ticket that the passenger originally paid.
That said, most airlines have a set process of who they offer upgrades to, and it usually goes to the customers that have paid the highest fare (as in fully flexible Y-class!) first, and then they will offer upgrades to those customers that are the highest members within the airlines frequent flyer program.
The interesting thing is when airlines offer upgrades to passengers at a specially discounted rate on the day of departure…I don’t understand why they do this as they risk annoying those passengers that have paid a premium price for the same class of service (as Steve suggests), and they also risk de-valuing the quality of the service onboard!

These are just some of the gripes from the airport as well…
1. Asking for a free upgrade when they have bought the cheapest possible ticket and/or coming up with the most unrealistic reason/s as to why they should get one.

Am sure I could think of others…feel free to add to them if you can.;)
Like the people on every episode of Airline who want to hold Easyjet responsible because:
1. They forgot their passport
2. They’re drunk
3. There was traffic on the M1
4. The weather is bad
5. Foreign air traffic controllers are on strike.

2. Families with small children and/or large groups that turn up at the last minute before check-in is due to close expecting to be able to sit together and/or get a choice of seats.
3. Forgetting to order a special meal and expecting one to be put onboard.
Am sure I could think of others…feel free to add to them if you can.;)

I can see the headlines now
“jet diverts due to brawl between passenger and flight attendant”
I’m on KLM MAN-AMS-Bucharest (whatever the code is). If you hear of anything on one of those flights, it’s me! ๐

On my flight to Bucharest tomorrow I’ll politely say to a member of the cabin crew ‘Ahem… Excuse me, servant, could I possibly get another red wine please?’ I want to see if I can call them ‘servant’, even politely, without getting slapped! ๐

After reading the Cabin Crew’s thoughts and feelings on passengers, I admit I am guilty to at least one of their “annoyances.” Whereas I think I have always behaved on all their other points, I have (on several occasions) on a long-haul flight; left my seat (during a movie, whilst most others are asleep) and entered the galley to request another whiskey/alcoholic drink – the thought process being that I would cause more disturbance if I hailed their services!

Most thicko pax. don’t realise thay are a lot more than a dinner lady.
But even so, rudeness to servants is always a sign of a complete lack of breeding and manners.
