A great day at Dx today with a couple of displays, Alistair Kay putting the mustang through it paces when he returned from displaying at southend and also the T-28 went up a couple of times. Nice to meet you Alistair and Stu Goldspink and thanks for your time.

AFH10 – it sounds like a story that should not be told! Incriminating photos, yes… I’ve got a cracking one of those… I am awaiting a small cheque from him or it’ll get posted here…
I’ll send you a small cheque to post it!

Was it Alistair Kay who flew the OFMC Mustang at Southend yesterday (Sunday)too?,
Both “Ferocious Frankie” and “Janie” were put through fine solo Display’s and “Frankie’s” Display was one of the best i have seen in a Mustang for ages, Very impressive.
Yes it was him both days, he told us after he landed that he loves flying the mustang. It clearly shows in his performance.

You forgot to mention the legendary Dave Puleston (on the right)! Not often mere mortals get to meet him, you should feel particularly honoured, especially as he was very busy on an intricate and important bit of aircraft restoration that day. I’ve got a pic somewhere, can’t seem to find it though. Never mind, I’m sure Dave will be able to tell you more.
Ah the immortal Mr P, Pully, call him what you will. An all round TAP.
I have seen some pretty incriminating photo’s of him in my time.
Did you know that in the Martin Bowman BBMF book he is listed in the credits as Dave ‘Pedo’ Puleston? There is a story there I feel!
