Great shots Si, Was thinking of taking a trip there with Spalding next year, is it worth it? From your shots it looks a great place for spotting.

The North airport is probably the best for photgraphy with a pretty good vantage point along the runway and it is used by quite a varied amount of traffic. I think the high point is the Iberia A340 which comes in from Madrid in the morning and the Cygnus DC8/757 which operates a cargo service to the island. The south is mainly holiday traffic with the usual TOM FCA MYT TCX AEU etc etc aircraft interspaced with some private jets. One thing that is essential for your visit is a rental car!

I was wondering if anyone knew of FREEWARE scenery updates for any of the 2 Tenerife airports GCTN (Los Rodeos), GCTS (Reina Sofia). I do a lot of flying around there because of the scenery. I base myself in Tenerife so airport scenry would be much appriciated. Thanks

Not too sure about Freeware scenery, i’m sure if you search AVSIM/Surclaro you will find some good free scenery though.

But, if you have a spare £12-15 you may want to invest in the SimWings scenery…. it’s 5 stars, absolutely amazing. 😀
