Unruly passenger charges cockpit

Delta Air Lines Flight 86 from New York to Tel Aviv, a Boeing 767 with 206 passengers and 11 crew members aboard en route New York to Tel Aviv diverted to Boston after an unruly passenger rushed the cockpit on Friday.

The passenger, reported to be an Israeli citizen, 22 year old Atmor Itay, was subdued by passengers and crew members, after he ran to the front of the plane and banged his fists on the cockpit door.
He was tied up with seatbelts before being handed over to authorities after landing at Logan Airport.

Massachusetts Port Authority officials detained Itay, who faces a federal charge of interfering with a flight crew.
