Turkish Airlines to take five 777-300ERs
Tolga Ozbek (25Mar09, 10:58 GMT, 85 words)Turkish Airlines is to acquire five Boeing 777-300ERs from the manufacturer, deliveries of which are to begin in October 2010.
The flag-carrier has disclosed its decision in a statement to the Istanbul stock exchange.
It will receive the aircraft monthly, with the final delivery in February 2011. All 777-300ERs are powered by General Electric GE90 engines.
The agreement follows Turkish Airlines’ recent lease of three 777-300ERs from Indian carrier Jet Airways.
Turkish Airlines is still engaged in a fleet-renewal programme which includes 35 long-haul aircraft.

Here you go Steve, your imagination can have a rest, this is one of the B777-300ER’s they have on loan from Jet Airways.
Just as i suggested…very very dull and unimaginative livery!!!

Can’t picture such a beautiful aircraft in such a dull and insipid livery as that of THY!!!
