An engine fire in an American Eagle Embraer ERJ-145, flight MQ-3554 from Houston Hobby,TX to Dallas Ft. Worth,TX (USA) with 18 passengers aboard, reported an engine on fire shortly after taxi out from Gate 28.
Although the E145’s engine’s fire extinguishers were discharged, the fire took approximately one hour to be completely extinguished by the airport fire and rescue teams.
No injuries were reported.
