Hi
I’ve been on Aer Lingus’ website looking to book a return flight from Belfast to Amsterdam this April. Unfortunately the website is only offering flights from Belfast until 28 March, and flights from Amsterdam until 10 March. Does anyone know why this is?
Thanks

I was hoping to fly out with Aer Lingus as they do an early morning flight…
Doesnt KLM fly to/from AMS to/from either BFS or BHD?
If not, I would have thought this would have been quite a popular route for them given the fact that they serve quite a few places in the UK already, but now that EI is stopping its services, maybe they might start a service to replace it?

I was hoping to fly out with Aer Lingus as they do an early morning flight, then come home with Easyjet as they do an evening flight. I hadn’t heard about Aer Lingus stoppping it’s Belfast-Amsterdam route.

I had a similar problem nlast year when BA were onnly offering flights LGW-MPL up until 30th March due to the purchase of Gib-Air by easyjet. Have you tried slumming it with Ryanair or easyjet?

Aer Lingus (EI/Dublin) has leased two new A320-200s that were not taken up by Comoro Islands Airline (Moroni) and will resume twice daily A320-200 service between Shannon and London Heathrow on March 29. It has announced plans to give up its Belfast Intl-Amsterdam route on March 27. In other news, it has entered into a joint-venture with codeshare partner United Airlines (UA/Chicago) to launch new transatlantic services from other EU countries. The two carriers are planning to start a first joint operation in spring 2010 with Aer Lingus operating a daily A330 service linking Madrid and Washington Dulles.
