Do any realworld pilots FS?

ATPL & commercial Captain. I don’t FS but I do like saving the world from the nazi hordes with CFS3 occasionally. 🙂

I have a couple of colleagues who are ardent FS “players”.

I’m a PPL.

I fly FS and CFS (More often IL2)

The sims are a game, nothing like the real world, but fun nevertheless

I fly helicopters commercially..and I fly FS9 as well. Mostly fly for virtual air canada, and using FS9 to keep up to date on my instrument flying. I don’t fly helicopters on FS9, as they are to unrealistic

Yes, a number of pilots use FS addons like LDS or PIC ERJ to keep up to date with operations. I met a B777 pilot @ IFC Blackpool who used LDS 767 to train himself,a nd his company

real world pilot? as in commercial? private? or both?
I’m a private pilot who is undertaking his ATPL CPL/IR, I fly FS2004, I fly for Qantas Virtual Airlines where Im a Check Captain doing Check Rides for CAT upgrades, generally I fly any of Qantas’ fleet.
