Sometimes, when we are not real flight experts, shouldn´t be questioning what the crew makes. Just sit back, relax, and let them do their work. They usually know what they are doing. :diablo:

Welcome to the forum Patsera1, glad to see you’ve received the usual warm welcome!:)

I think your question (if it was indeed a question; seemed to be worded rather strangely, or maybe I am just getting old?:p) has already been answered, but like someone else has said, your title of the thread is way off the mark…perhaps think more carefully about this, then you might not get such a harsh reception from other forum members.

again a very friendly forum reply .
the reason the plane was banking is due to getting the aircraft on the right flightpath .also if you was on the plane it would not have been as severe as it looked from inside the plane .i hope this helps to explain it a little

Were you flying it?

Deano already pointed that out as a likely reason anyway, can’t be certain it was that though… What a strange discussion!

With due respect Patsera1 I think your thread title is way off the mark

I have to agree Deano.

Patstera, you have only posted in two threads so far, and in both you have used phrases which have been followed by (no offence). If you don’t mean to cause offence could you please think about the comment you make in the first place. That way I’m sure you’ll find a warm welcome offered by all.

No offence 😉

With due respect Patsera1 I think your thread title is way off the mark, also your interpretation of steep needs to be questioned.
Why on earth would 2 professional pilots bank a 744 dangerously steep? Were you onboard? Were you viewing from the ground?

It was probably nothing more than the 744 turning on track and then ATC gave them a radar heading so they turned back the opposite way.

Do you work for the media? This type of unsubstantiated hysteria does nobody any good. 🙁
