Here’s a few of my shots of the Me 262 and Me 109 G-6 from the Berlin Airshow on Friday. Quite similar to the other posts, but I figure still of interest 🙂

The ‘262 is a new-build, with modern engines. The ‘109 is a DB-engined Hispano Buchon.

Its great to see these birds in the air again.
Are these originals or new builds?

I have been told that the Zero coming to legends should be the Planes of Fame example A6M5. It has been flying for a few years now and flew last weekend at an airshow. I think it is the same one mentioned by Flying Kiwi. It looks nice.

The only Zero in the world still flying with its original engine is the one at Chino in California which flew last weekend. There are a couple of other Zero airframes on the circuit, but with Pratt and Whitney radial engines.

I will try and get some more info this evening on the Zero unless someone else gets it first.

Lovely shots here.
O/K wrong thread but the 262 will not be at Legends – booked elsewhere in Europe – do not know where. Do not know about the 109. The Zero will be a genuine article from over the big pond.
Is there the only flying Zero in Teaxs?

The legends poster shows a Zero! May be the old Harvard/Zero replica is coming back from New Zeland.
