Now that makes sense, and I agree, poor Connie has had a terrible run of luck lately, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.No, we don’t have that saying in NA, the word “chinaman” is terribly un-PC.
That’s like I like about Aussies, they seem immune to such nonsense.:D
I didn’t know it was a colloquial expression..sorry!!

Typo..i meant “run over a Chinaman”..have you not heard that expression before..when someone is having a run of bad luck you say you’ve run over a Chinaman
