😀 Hey all,
I have a few aircraft in FS2002 which I’d like to change, livery wise!! Now, I’ve tried one, but when I edited the tail, in FS it just came up all grey? Can anyone explain how to do this please?
Cheers

Also, you should really use a paintkit rather than just editing someone elses livery. If you want to edit the livery contact the person who painted it and ask their permission.

You’ll need a paint programme of some sort and DXTBMP by Martin Wright. The latter can be found here:

Using layers (as, for example, in Photoshop or Paintshop Pro) works best because you can edit/delete to your heart’s content without altering the base textures.

I’m trying to edit an Evergreen express Saab 340, I saved it as a BMP image I think.

What you may need to do is find an image converter, flight simulator only works with certain image files. I belive FS only works with things such as Bitmaps mainly 32bit. Seach the net for something like MW Graphics DXTbmp, a great tool. What are you tying to edit?
