Thomson 747 at LGW this morning

It was indeed a Corsair 744 doing a Champions League charter. Other footy charters into LGW included FlyGlobespan 763, XL France A320, Flightline MD83, 2x VIA A320s, XLA/Iberworld A330, Blue Panorama 763, Dubrovnik Airlines MD83, JetTime 733, Orbest A330 and Air Slovakia 757.

Just because Corsair is a French airline, does not prevent it from operating charter flights to/from London…my friend who went to the match (he’s a Chelsea supporter :D:diablo:) told me they flew from Luton on an Air Finland 757, so anything’s possible!

Corsair also have A330’s which in my opinion look good in the Tui livery – Then again, most A330’s look good.

Thomson have 747’s? As in 747’s that say Thomson down the side of them? The only 747’s in that blue scheme I know are the Corsair ones. I’m confused… :confused:
