The aircraft is VT-AIK ex N205UA and apparently the incorrect nose pin was fitted.
It’s one of the United 732’s that was parked up at Victorville

I remember something similar happening a few years ago at Heathrow, involving an Eva Air 744 and some very embarrased looking BA engineers…
I think the same thing happened at Sydney a while back with a Korean 747

Air India just wants to look modern to their customers. Unfortnately for the PR department the operations department keeps scheduling their modern planes. So the PR department performed a daring operation under the cover of night to make sure one of their most modern pieces of kit would stay in view of the customers. Operations won’t touch the plane for quite a while to come now! 😀
