Just a few from Yesterday from here.
You may notice a person in a wheel chair in some of the shots. The reason for this is to indicate that they where taken from a position where a disabled person can easily gain access . This was brought to my attention last year by a fellow photographer whose wife is disabled, and he suggested we put it in the guide. Them shots were taken 2 feet from my car.

Is the first short a F.3 or GR model? Can’t see a refueling probe on the side
As stated it’s a GR4. The probe is a removable asset. Always quite funny to watch a Pilot clamber into the cockpit of a probeless aircraft to be strapped in, then place his bone dome to the side where the probe should be….. This is followed by a bang as it impacts the floor, sometimes smashing the visor too. This is then followed by swearing from the aircrew, laughing from us lineys and the Nav getting on the radio to the Squipper to get a spare brought out. Brilliant!

It is a Gr model. It kind of looked weird to me then i discovered it didnt have a probe .I asked on another forum and was told that they dont all have them fitted.

Simply brilliant! I can’t even the feeling you would get from seeing a GR.4 flying by while driving in the motorway.
You tend to wander out of your lane and nearly fill your trousers, and that happened to me with only a Hawk, further up the road at Beattock and in torrential rain too.
Passing Leeming on the A-1 can be fun to when the F-3’s are messing about but I reckon the best road has to be the one to Brandon where it passes the end of the Lakenheath runway when the F-15’s are landing, if you are parked up in the viewing area, passing traffic’s reaction to this can be quite interesting.
Another late, lamented place was a trip on the Bure Valley Railway at Coltishall, when the Jaguars were landing and taking off, it’s situated only about 100 yards from the west end of the runway and we always used to get twitchy approaching the appropriate spot during a streamed take off or landing.
This has reminded me of a real head ducking incident.
A couple of years ago we went on a camping holiday to Norfolk, fortunately it coincided with a visit to Coltishall by Polish SU-22’s and our campsite wasn’t too many miles from the end of the runway so lie ins weren’t an option.
Every day the Jags and SU’s practiced dogfights around the coast at Sheringham.
One day, we took the kids for a trip on The North Norfolk Railway from Holt to Sheringham, just as an aside John Major was sitting in the rear carriage.
While crossing Kelling Heath we were looking at the sea view when an Su, chased by a Jag, nearly took the roof off the carriage, I’m certain that the coach swayed with the affects of the reheat, I reckon they knew Mr Major was onboard and were taking the p##s, I noticed that Norma made a sprint for the bar when we arrived at Sheringham, we had to calm down with a crab sandwhich and a pint at the 2 Lifeboats instead.
Holidays in Norfolk will never be the same.
