Dear Friends,
I have developed a study which aims to identify the effectiveness of Frequent Guest Programmes with regards to a number of issues within the hotel industry. Knowing the popularity of Frequent Flyer Programmes, it will be interesting to investigate whether FGPs have the same appeal.
Do you believe that hotel loyalty can be achieved through Frequent Guest Programmes?
I would appreciate if you could take part in this short survey. Your cooperation will be very valuable for the outcome of my Honours Project. Identification is not required and it should take no longer than 10 to 12 minutes to complete.
You are also very welcome to provide your views on the topic. To begin the survey please click on the link below.

Hi there.
I am not a member of a stand alone “hotel group” membership programme, but my frequent flyer programme SAS Euro Bonus is partnered to a few hotel chains, most obviously SAS Radisson. As a result i will try to get rooms in the relevant promoted hotel chains offering free upgrades or mileage bonus.
I am also aware that, as is popular in the aviation world to do a “mileage run” to retain elite status, some folks are now taking part in “mattress runs” for the same reason with there hotel chain of choice. Therefore i would say there is some interest in the subject.
Hope this helps.

A lot of the large “airport hotel” chains do offer courtsey cards. Think for instance of NH Hotel or Best Western. So I would assume there is a group of “frequest sleepers” if you will.
