B787 Workers / Experts please.

Have Boeing given up on the manufacture of Carbon Fibre Wing Spars?
If so, how are they dealing with the thermal expansion problems between the Al. Alloy Spars and the CFRP Skin (Or Covers as the skins seem to be getting called these days)?
