Anyone know why the Air Tahiti Nui A343 THT022 is flying to Prestwick instead of CDG?

Looks like a re-clear flight plan.
With a re-clear flightplan, if your fuel on board at a certain point is above the amount required on the flightplan to reach CDG, you can continue on to your ultimate destination. In this case CDG. The crew can re-clear themselves to CDG with ATC enroute. If the fuel is below the amount required to reach CDG on a re-clear flightplan, then you go to the airport that your flight plan is filed to for a quick gas n go.

Something to do with only getting your domestic plan once you are airborne due to length of time it takes to get to UK airspace from LAX?
