Bye Bye MyTravel

One tricky question, my flight in Jan is scheduled to be MYT, does that mean it will now mean a TCX service ?

I actually thought exactly the same as I posted that message, but somehow an Easyjet 737-700 doesn’t quite have the same impact visually as a MyTravel A330!

Speaking purely from a photographers point of view I have to say, I think this is a great shame. To me the MyTravel scheme stands out as one of the more interesting to photograph and I’m certainly going to miss shooting it.

G-FTDF is now based at BHX and wears full TCX scheme including the globe. Yesterday, G-BYTH positioned out for its paint job.

Does that mean the MYT A320 i go on to Sofia from Birmingham could be in TCX livery in Jan.

Quite possible. You can now add G-FTDF to the list with G-BYTH being the next one.

Yup, think you will find that G-SUEW was the first. No tail logos due to pending winter leases to Skyservice

It’s a shame that… My Travel spent so long converting their livery from Airtours to My Travel, only for it to get replaced so soon by the somewhat bland TCX livery.:(
