Image needed PA28 / C172 landing

Hey guys,

I need a really good image of a Cherokee or Cesspit coming in to land.

Ideally front three-quarter view on finals, not on the runway, but with some ground showing and a beautiful blue sky with fluffy white bits.

It’s for us to put a client ad together for approval. If it goes ahead they’ll probably supply their own image, but if I can sell yours to them I will do.

Must be 300ppi for repro.

Just post low res here for the time being.

Needed urgently

Here’s a Cessna landing, probably not what you’re looking for.

Jo,

You were already under consideration. We hadn’t forgotten you. 🙂

Thanks guys.

As I feared the idea died so it’s off to Plan B

Some nice pics none the less.

The Shoreham pic would have been too identifiable as Shoreham unfortunately

I think he was pretty upfront that the image is probably not going to be used. I would assume if it had gone to the next stage, a money value may have been negotiated. At which point the Photogrpher could proceed or not.

Moggy, have you trawled airliners.net?
Also, what about that one of Tall Guy’s G-AXTA in front of the college at Shoreham?

Better than too little in my opinion. Will stand you in good stead once you move on to Austers.

Not very well though, in the opinion of the occupant of the left hand seat. First attempt at a take off, I am told 😉 Too much dancing on the rudder bar apparently………

Three possible shots below. All low res for the time being.

The first one’s close. We could fix the sky, but I’d really like it slightly more frontal.

Can you e-mail my creative director a high res anyway for tomorrow?

thATtigheffernanDOTcom ?

Thx

Sorry TMN, not quite what we are looking for. The runway shot is cool though!

Any use ?
(The almost head-on is just for the fun of it, and the shot showing the runway just ‘cos I like it!)
Sorry the ‘real’ one is just against a blue sky.
Will look in case I’ve got any better.

Dodrums looks most promising at the moment. I’ll show it to my creative director and see if it is what she wants.

Probably worth e-mailing a full-res version to:

thATtigheffernanDOTcom

Then if it works we can plough straight on.

Thx.

Sorry we can’t use AusterFanJrs versions, it might have been a good start to his career. Is anybody we know flying the aircraft in the picture Ian?

This is all I have, I think (all taken by AF Junior at Old Buckenham last weekend), but I doubt they’re good enough. Does it have to be on finals?
