Antonov @ STN – 13/08/07

I flew into STN tonight, and noticed an AN124 parked up with it’s behind opened up (not too far from what looked like a UAE 744 parked up). Anyone know what what he 124 was dropping off/doing?

Hi Chris,

It was a Libyan Air Cargo aircraft, 5A-DKL, on the ground apparently in connection with the World Scout Jamboree in Essex this year (hence the visits of Saudi and Algerian aircraft in recent days, also). 5A-DKL popped in yesterday, also.

I have a photo of her arrival but no time to get it off the camera yet. Shall post it tomorrow.
